I'm what you would call a weekend gamer, but I try to stay current enough to buy the games that I know are really going to be around for awhile. Enter Call of Duty: Black Ops, developer Treyarch's third attempt at the franchise. They also brought us Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty: World at War. The other Call of Duty games were projects of now defunct Infinity Ward. (Though in my opinion, Infinity Ward did a much better job.) The first thing Treyarch got right for CoD: Black Ops? The marketing. The hype for Black Ops before its release on Nov. 9th, 2010 was huge.
