Have you ever wondered who the current market leader for video game consoles and video games is in general? Well if you guessed that Xbox 360 was the undisputed leader, you were correct. Recent numbers – created by industry analysts and professionals – have purported that Microsoft currently dominates the marketplace once again (wow that is nothing new) with their Xbox 360 video gaming system and the vast amounts of Xbox 360 games that currently saturate retail store shelves. If you thought that they were slowing down, think again. Still not convinced? These top eight reasons should change your mind.

Top Eight Reasons Why Xbox 360 Will Always Dominate the Marketplace
1. More games: it’s true, Xbox 360 and Xbox have always come out first and have always offered far more games for gamers to enjoy and drool over than others.
2. Better live and online play: if you thought that Sony had better live play you are wrong. Xbox Live is the champion of all three game consoles when playing online.
3. Exclusive downloads: many signature games like GTA IV and Oblivion have downloads that only Xbox users can get via Xbox Live. This is a huge factor in marketplace dominance.
4. More affordable consoles: Sony still has yet to lower the price of their console to match that of the Xbox 360, which is a hundred bucks cheaper currently.
5. Better interface: the interfaces between all the current consoles pales in comparison to the user-friendly interface of the Xbox 360.
6. More lucrative marketing budget: even compared to Sony, Microsoft is just one of the largest, most profitable companies in the world, they will always have more marketing dollars than rivals.
7. Links to your current Windows PCs: no other consoles can link to computers like the Xbox 360, obviously because Microsoft makes the software for both.
8. Domestic company: even though the consoles are manufactured overseas, Microsoft is an American company, Sony is not.
