The mantra of Madden is a dynasty franchise that has spawned around twenty years of amazing football video games. They have outdone everybody in between. They have put other video game companies to shame. EA Sports has really dug their stakes in deep with Madden, and never has let us down – at least not all that much. But still…this blogger has some quips with the 2009 Madden!

Five Pros and Cons for Madden NFL Football 2009 (Yes Five of Each!)
I have played this game nearly to its death. I love it and I hate it. One could easily say that it is most assuredly a love and hate relationship. Obviously there are many reasons that cause me to feel this way about such a great video game. So…I felt it necessary to fully explain myself by highlighting five pros and cons that this ever so popular – and one of the best selling video games of all time – has to offer; or not to offer!

Five Pros of Madden 2009
1. Better announcing: finally they got rid of that annoying sports radio broadcast…it really sucked!
2. Better graphics: vastly improved graphics make this game a real treat to play.
3. More tackles: better tackling, improved handling and more animations and frames offer the best tackling yet in the game.
4. Improved player AI: better artificial intelligence of the players makes the computer actually help you out more during game play.
5. Enhanced Xbox Live mode: online play has been greatly improved but still needs work.

Five Cons of Madden 2009
1. The Virtual Trainer Has to Go: this annoying trainer rates your game play and always wants you to train using lame game modes following every game…it doesn’t get you better and you can’t turn it off.
2. Live play can be better: lagging live play and glitches are still prevalent.
3. No more Madden IQ: this seems impossible to raise up ever…what is the point?
4. No saving game halfway through: why can’t I save at halftime and finish the game later?
5. No custom plays: still I can’t create custom plays without shelling out sixty smackers for NFL Head Coach! What gives?

I believe that users record their matches when they are playing them and then upload them online to be rated. The top rated plays are then compiled to make these nifty, quarterly videos.
