As if you needed anymore reasons to play one of the best free-world games ever to be created, let me provide you two more candid reasons as to why! The wonderful thing that separates the newer Grand Theft Auto (IV) from the older one (San Andreas) is that unlike the Xbox version, the Xbox 360 version has exclusive downloadable, expandable content from Microsoft. I know (whine), all of you Sony cats get screwed with downloaded content. But, for those of you who love the Xbox 360 (me), the future is shining bright indeed.
Two More Reasons to Play GTA IV: In so many words, there are two expansions, one that is available and one that is coming towards the end of 2009. And, you can easily expect them to keep dishing them out in the years to come!
1. The Lost and the Damned: You are pitted in the shoes of a motorcycle gang leader who has just gotten out of rehab. You must now regroup your gang, find your old bike again and wage a most certain war against other rival gangs in the area to reclaim the territory that was once yours. Lost and the Damned offers enhanced riding physics, tons of new missions and new weapons. It costs 1600 Microsoft Points to download (around $18.50) and will give you at least thirty to forty extra hours of play time!
2. GTA IV Episode 2: This is a newer expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV that will be available (according to Microsoft’s website) around mid-December of 2009. It will offer nearly the same amount of missions that the newest GTA IV offers, all in Liberty City. Not sure how many points this one will cost, but rumors have that it will be around $30 in the end.
If you have not seen it already, then you can check out the hot trailer for the newest GTA IV expansion to take the video gaming world by force: “The Lost and The Damned.” This awesome expansion takes place in Liberty City and offers at least another forty hours of exciting play time. Soon, they will have the trailer for “Episode 2” out, and rest assured when they do, we will bring it to you all here. Until such time, what are you waiting for? Go out and download “Lost and the Damned” already!
