If you twitter too much ...

As we get to the end of the year, game releases and news have been rather mellow. Perhaps it just seems that way because family-orientated games are being promoted in time for the holidays. That is the only way I can explain this week's release, QIX ++. Read more

There has been some interesting developments this week. The much-anticipated Sky Package was released, folks are talking about The Who making it to the Rockband series and of course, two more games make it to the XBLA. Read more

 So, let's see what's happening this week. I wanted to mention a few Xbox-related news and upcoming titles but everything was overshadowed by Beatles orientated Rockband game. Yes, looks like I joined into the Beatles mania and am planning to smash open my piggy bank just to nab that game.

worms 2How about that? Worms 2 is coming out on XBLA today. Well, if you are a fan of those cute crawly creatures, you will want to check out Worms 2: Armageddon. So what is new? Seems like the good folks might have added to the arsenal of these super pink fighters. This includes super bunker buster, Buffalo of lies, the Holy Hand Grenade, the baseball bat (hurrah!), napalm and the petrol bomb.

Players can also look forward to a variety of new modes (e.g. rope racing mode and fort mode). You are also going to get a whole lot more arenas. Examples on the list include Cheese Moon, Construction Site and Medieval England. Looks like the guys behind the game heard all the complaints and whining and decided the first game did not do justice to this cult classic. Read more
