If you liked the Grand Theft Auto franchise and other free world, gory shooters, than Far Cry 2 may just be the thing that you were looking for. An enhanced graphical engine with newer shading properties makes this game look shiny and brilliant to the eyes – even if most of your time is spent driving around and shooting rebels to unlock safe houses. Still, the repetition aside, Far Cry 2 is an avid and worthwhile shooter that well earns its pay in a world where games are breaking ground each day with newer and greater things that make all of us gamers go ah – yes, finally.
