MotoGP 06’ – Climax Studios Wins Big with This Hot Racer!

MotoGP ’06 is one of the best motorcycle racers of its time. Released in mid-June of 2006 by Climax Studios, the world of Xbox 360 had never seen such a great racing game before. And keep in mind that this game is dated, but still is worthwhile and even today I have enjoyed picking up the controller and wrapping my thumbs around it for a few hours to get my octane thrills out of the way. The graphics—especially for three years ago—are simply amazing and highly detailed, and the game boasts an incredible frame rate with almost no noticeable glitches. The levels are so well modeled and rendered that the dirt actually looks real!

The game offers easy controls that will take but a few minutes to master. And there are plenty of cool game modes that you can enjoy. Like the Grand Prix mode, which will take you many hours to get good at—where your skills as a racer are pitted against nineteen other drivers, and the AI is pretty formidable. They game also features a wide variety of replica courses from around the world. Learning drag and braking and steering will take a bit, but pays off big time in the end.
